Dr. Crystal Watson founded SAY MORE to provide a space where stories matter and where we can challenge what leadership has been allowed to look like.

An educator, scholar, speaker, and unapologetic advocate for equity, Dr. Watson has dedicated her career to creating educational spaces where educators know they're valued and students feel seen.

As an elementary school principal, Dr. Watson knows all too well about how the work is as complicated as it is rewarding. She knows about navigating tensions between policy and practice, balancing the expectations of systems with the realities of classrooms, and the unspoken emotional labor of leading people and serving communities.

Beyond the research, the titles, and the accomplishments, Dr. Watson believes there are truths that continue to be kept secret in failed attempts of not hurting the feelings of others.
